Agropoli
The Medieval village is the ancient part of the town of Agropoli. It is accessed via a picturesque flight of steps, starting at the end of Piazza Vittorio Veneto and arriving in front of the famous entrance door of Agropoli.
As soon as we cross the door, we see the historic Churches of the Holy Mary of Constantinople and a magnificent view of the marina. Here a photo is highly recommended!
Continuing through the characteristic narrow streets made of cobblestones and ancient stones, we reach the Church of the Patron Saints, Saints Peter and Paul. Following the path, we can admire the Angioino Aragonese Castle, an old fortress from which the city was defended in ancient times.
